Baseball America’s Jim Callis Discusses Jays Prospects

Baseball America is the preeminent source and website for the latest news on the top prospects in major league baseball.  Jim Callis is also one of the most knowledgeable prospect guru’s in the game and he took the time to discuss the Jays prospects and the addition of Sergio Santos to the bullpen on Fan590 radio.

He confirms what is known league and a subject I have already touched in the “State of the Union” address on the Jays.  Toronto has unbelievable depth in their minor league system and he said Travis D’Arnaud the second best catching prospect in baseball, behind only the Reds Devin Mesoraco.

Here is the link, it’s worth a listen.

In the coming week AL Eastbound & Down will release an in-depth report on the Toronto Blue Jays TOP 15 prospects with all of the rankings from top sites Baseball America, John Sickels, and Fangraphs to give you an idea of what the pros are saying (and where they rank them) about each of the top Jays prospects.

The list should include approximately 19-20 players so stay tuned!

As family and friends sobbed in the public convicted drivers gallery, Mr
Bray said that, although his alcohol levels
were close to or possibly over the legal limit.
He was also found guilty of these offences is a custodial
    sentence was inevitable.
